Sean Smith will be going into his second year at McMaster this fall. Sean is a graduate of St. Josephs Secondary school in Cornwall. While attending St. Joes Sean played basketball and football. Sean was involved in many community based sports - Cornwall minor lacrosse, Cornwall Coyotes soccer, CUCBA Lions basketball, Cornwall Wildcats football, and the Cumberland Pathers junior varsity football program. In 2009 Sean played for the U17 Ontario football squad. His team won the National Championship in Saskatoon. He was selected as team captain for the Ontario East team in 2010 while competing in Nova Scotia. In his first three years of high school St. Joes were SD&G champs in basketball. His school were SD&G champs in football in 2010. Sean has won many individual awards in various sports. During his first year of university Sean played for the CIS National football Champions. Sean has recently been recognized as one of the top under 20 prospects by the Canadian football chat's scouting bureau.
