The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Long Sault Community Hall. The Inductees received awards for their contribution to the sports community. Special achievement awards were presented to South Stormont high school students to recognize their great athletic accomplishments. 

 

The event was a great success and the attendees were thankful to the SSSHOF Committee for their hard work. A huge thank you to the Master of Ceremony Gord Shaver. Thank you to the Ingleside/Lost Villages Lions Club. for the delicious roast beef dinner and to Quinn's Inn for providing their service.  The Hall of Fame committee would like to give thanks and acknowledgement to the event sponsors;

All inductee’s plaques are on display at the Long Sault Arena, along with a separate plaque with the names of the student award recipients.

The Hall of Fame is continually seeking volunteers interested in joining the committee as they continue to make improvements to the organization and start planning for future induction ceremonies.  If you are interested in joining the organizing committee, the Annual General Meeting will take place in November 2023. The date, time and location of the meeting will be posted when available or you can contact the Long Sault arena for more information. 613-534-2419.
