Larry Corlyon

Larry was a top pitcher in the North End Fastball League (NEFL) in Cornwall, and the Dundas League in Southeastern Ontario during the 1960’s. In 1965, he was one of the starting pitchers for the Courtaulds team that took home the NEFL Championship. As a result of his dominant performance on the mound, Larry was presented with the award for Most Outstanding Fastball player at the 1966 annual Cornwall District Lions Club Sport’s Award dinner. All the top players in this area played in the NEFL at this time, being recognized as the top player was a great accomplishment in a long softball career.
