Konnor MacCormick 

High School Athlete / Hockey

2018

Konnor is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Secondary School. During his high school years Konnor was a well-rounded athlete. The soccer team he played for were SD&G Champions for three years straight with one of those teams being crowed EOSSAA champs.  He was also part of the school hockey team that won two EOSSAA championships.

Konnor started his hockey career in South Stormont. He went on to play Seaway Valley AA, Upper Canada Cyclones AAA and Eastern Ontario Wild AAA. In 2014 was protected by the Cornwall Colts. In 2015 he was drafted by the Barrie Colts of the OHL.  Konnor has played for the Cornwall Colts the past three seasons and in 2017-2018 he was their top scorer.

Konnor has recently been name to Team Canada playing in the Junior Club World Cup being held in Sochi, Russia. He will be playing against teams from Russia, Sweden, Finland, China, The Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.

Konnor will play for the Cornwall Colts in 2018-2019 with the hopes of obtaining a university scholarship.
