Jeremy grew up in Lunenburg and started his hockey journey in the Atom House League and then joined the Atom Competitive Flyers of the South Stormont Minor Hockey Association. He also played in the South Stormont soccer program and was a member of the South Stormont competitive baseball team. Jeremy graduated to the Seaway Valley Minor Hockey AA program playing as a Major Atom to the Bantam level. He also played with the Casselman AAA Minor Hockey team. He graduated to Junior hockey playing for South Grenville Junior B team where he won the Jr B Most Valuable Player Award. He moved on to play with the Brockville Braves Junior A team of the CJHL and then the Cornwall Colts Junior A team where he was selected as the playoff MVP. His hockey career continued at the US college level where he joined the American International College NCAA Division 1 team for four years. Here, he was chosen as AIC FJ Maloney Award winner as the most outstanding athlete over his four years; the AIC Henry Butova Award for excellence in leadership and was also chosen as the NCAA Atlantic Division All-Academic team. His professional hockey career included stints with the Port Huron Icehawks of the IHL and the Corpus Christi Icerays of the CHL. Jeremy’s coaching career started with SUNY Courtland Hockey Team where he earned the Club Sports Coach of the Year Award.
Jeremy has put his hockey earned education to good use in the teaching/administrative field in New York State as a Trumansburg Central School Special Education Teacher, Vice Principal 7-12 at Watkins Glen Central School District and as a Principal K-6 of the Walkins Glen School District.
