South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame

Grant is a graduate of St. Josephs Catholic Secondary School. Grant played numerous sports at St. Joes winning awards in hockey and volleyball, and In 2013 he was the schools junior athlete of the year. Grant played on many SD&G championship teams and has competed at EOSSAA level in basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton and track and field.

Grant also excelled on the soccer pitch playing 5 seasons with the Seaway Valley Blazers. In minor hockey Grant started his career with the South Stormont Selects in 2002. Prior to being selected by the Cornwall Colts jr A club in 2012 - 2013 Grant won MVP awards playing for the Selects and the Seaway Valley Rapids. Playing with the Casselman Vikings Grant accumulated 44 points in 39 games helping his team reach the EOJHL finals. Grant represented his team in the 2015 EOJHL prospects game. Last season he continues his strong play scoring a total of 41 points in 53 games with the Cumberland Grads.
