Dylan Prendergast
Baseball & Hockey
2008
At the age of 15, Dylan can already be proud of his accomplishments on the baseball diamond. As a member of the Cornwall River Rats, he's made a trip to the Little League Provincial Championships four times. Last year the River Rats earned a spot in the National championships in Windsor, where they brought home a bronze medal. This year, as a member of the Cornwall Black Sox, he missed another trip to the Canadian Championships by 6 outs as the Black Sox lost in the provincial final.
Dylan has had success on the ice as well. He's won Novice and Atom Eastern Division Championships with the South Stormont Selects, and has also played with the Cornwall Royals Major Pee Wees, and the Seaway Valley Rapids 'AA' Minor Bantams and minor Midgets.
A Grade 12 student at Tagwi Secondary School, Dylan also competes in high school volleyball, basketball, rugby and football. He also umpires baseball and referees hockey.
