South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame

His name has been synonymous with the sport of basketball in SDG for over 40 years. He has been and continues to be a founder, coach, and a dedicated builder.  He has coached all levels of boys and girls teams throughout his teaching career at Rothwell Osnabruck School and continues to do so through his retirement.  Bob has operated development camps for over 25 years and was the founder of the Upper Canada Ice Program in the late 1990’s.

He has been recognized with a number of coaching achievement awards and was also named the South Stormont Volunteer of the Year in 2009, the OFSAA Leadership Award, and is the founding President of the South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame.
