Ava just completed grade 10 at St Joseph’s Secondary School. Ava started gymnastics at the age of three and began competing in 2009 and as of 2015 she’s been taking part in provincial qualifiers.

Ava is a member of the Cornwall gymnastics Club winning numerous awards with the club, some of which have been the Motivator award, most dedicated, and a Gemini gymnastics special recognition award.

Ava is also a member of the St. Josephs gymnastic team. In 2017 at the level 4 EOSSAA she was second in the individual all-around which helped her team capture first place. In 2018 at the level 6 EOSSAA she was first overall competing against athletes of any high school age.

Ava is also a coach at the gymnastics club and sits on the athletic council at St Joseph’s Secondary School.
