Angela Wilson started her prolific high school basketball career in 1993/94 with the Rothwell Osnabruck Lancers by capturing the SD&G Midget Championship. In the process, she was named the school's female MVP for midget basketball.
She continued to improve, and, in 96/97 was awarded R/O's Senior Girls Basketball MVP, as well as Most Dedicated Player.
In 97/98, her final year, she won the Senior Girls Volleyball MVP, as well as Senior Girls Athlete of the Year. That year, R/O's senior girls' teams were SD&G Champs for volleyball and basketball, and went to EOSSA for volleyball, basketball and track & field.
During her high school years, Angela also received the Junior Girls Soccer MVP, while earning MVP honours, as well, with the Ingleside Orioles Ladies softball team.
She continued her post-secondary education in 1998/99 at Durham College in Oshawa, where the Lady Lords Basketball squad were Ontario bronze medallists. For her efforts, Angela was named Rookie of the Year, OCAA Final Four All- Star, and OCAA Champion-ship All-Star. For the next two years, she was honoured with the Coaches' Award, and was named as an OCAA All-Star both years, as well. She was also a member of the Lady Lords Varsity Soccer team which finished 4th in Ontario in 2000/01. Angela capped off her outstanding college career by receiving Durham College's All Academic award for Athletic and Academic Achievement.
