South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame

This Newington resident is an all round athlete who represents her school in many sports. In June of 2006, she was named Most Dedicated Athlete by her school. She was also named Midget Girls MVP for Track and Field at Rothwell-Osnabruck School. Alison competes for the ICE - a local traveling basketball team. In addition to school sports, she has demonstrated excellence in club gymnastics. Representing the Cornwall Gymnastics Club over the last two years, Alison won a gold and silver medal at the Eastern Ontario inter club competition for overall points at a meet. In addition to these accomplishments, Alison has a provincial gold medal in broomball.
